What Smiley Turkish Properties can do for you

Smiley Turkish properties charge our clients no fees for our services. We get our money purely from commission on the sale of property. What we also offer is on-going support and services after the sale is complete. There is no fee for this service either.

Peace of Mind

Purchasing your property through Smiley Turkish Properties will give you the peace of mind knowing that we can negotiate on your behalf on the purchase price of any property you choose. We can also arrange all the legal work, furniture packages at a good price, and help you to set up a Turkish Bank account so you can pay all you bills easily by Direct Debit. A minimum deposit of £1,000 to secure your property is required. We will arrange a price plan for you to pay the balance.

The Bills

Typical cost of owning a property in Turkey are currently*:
  • Council Tax: from £50 per year
  • Water Rates: from 50p for 1000 litres (average £5 per month)
  • Gas: from £15 per bottle (lasts on average 3 months)
  • Annual Property Tax: 0.1% of the declared purchase price (e.g. £80 per year for a property bought for £80,000)

NAEA

Smiley Turkish Properties will only deal with Estate Agents registered with the NAEA (national Association of Estate Agents). We currently work exclusively with Sunset Homes who have been establish in Turkey for over 30 years. Please note that if you decide to deal directly with Sunset Homes then you must inform them that you have contacted them through Smiley Turkish Homes to obtain your free support and aftercare services.

Renting your Property made easy

Once you have your dream property and are enjoying the tranquil Turkish life you might decide that you would like to have a rental income from your property. Smiley Turkish Properties can arrange all of this for you. For example expected rental income can be as follows:
  • Apartments £250 per week.
  • Villas £350 per week.
These figures may vary depending on the property. Rental periods can be from one week to one year depending on the rental client's circumstances.
